Aurora man arrested as sheriff’s deputies respond to Boulder Hill shots fired report

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Omar Ambriz, 32, of the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue, Aurora, at 12:59 a.m. May 9 while responding to a report of shots fired in the 100 block of Hillstone Road in the unincorporated Boulder Hill subdivision.

In a statement, the sheriff’s office said Ambriz faces charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and criminal damage to state supported property.

The suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
