Pedestrian struck by motor vehicle in Montgomery; police investigation continuing

Montgomery police, assisted by the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team, are continuing their investigation into an incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle Sunday evening, Nov. 28 in the village.

In a statement issued Monday afternoon, police said officers responded at 7:53 p.m. to Route 25 and Keck Avenue on a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Police also determined that one vehicle was involved in the incident.

Names of the parties involved in the incident are being withheld pending the completion of the investigation, police said.
