Oswego police arrested Kevin Padilla, 26, of the 30th block of Paladino Drive, Romeoville, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 9:08 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 1700 block of Route 30.
In a statement, police said Padilla faces charges of possession of a firearm without a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card, possession of ammunition without a FOID card, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle.
Police said Padilla was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
