Montgomery police are continuing their investigation into a shots-fired incident in which one person was injured early Sunday morning, May 2.
In a statement, police said officers and police from surrounding agencies responded about 2 a.m. to the 1700 block of Stonegate Drive on the village’s far west side on a report of a fight in progress and shots fired.
Upon arrival at the scene, police said officers found one individual with life-threatening injuries. The person was transported to an area hospital.
Police said their investigation into the incident is ongoing and there currently is no known threat to the community.
