Anyone who is having a hard time dealing with the holiday season is welcome to attend a “Longest Night” service, sometimes called Blue Christmas, on Sunday, Dec. 21.

It will be held at 3 p.m. at the Chapel on the Green, 107 W. Center St., Yorkville.

Pastor Elizabeth Hartung of the Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ will conduct the service in the building which was originally the Congregational Church home.

The service will include special organ music.
