Sandwich 59, Marengo 46: Dom Rome had 28 points and seven rebounds, powering the Indians (12-10, 5-2) to their fifth straight Kishwaukee Conference win. Griffin Somlock added 14 points and Simeion Harris seven points and five rebounds.

Richmond-Burton 53, Plano 39: Ethan Taxis scored 12 points for Plano (11-9, 5-2).

Perspectives 56, Yorkville Christian 51: Jayden Riley scored 14 points and Tray Alford 13 for the Mustangs (16-8) at Rich Central’s Breast Cancer Shootout.

Girls Basketball

Yorkville 66, Sycamore 47

The Foxes jumped out to a 9-0 lead, led 36-21 at halftime and never looked back in a game played in the gym used to film the movie “Hoosiers” in Knightstown, Ind.

Brooke Spychalski scored 24 points and Madi Spychalski 15 for Yorkville (16-7). Lainey Gussman added six points and 12 rebounds.

Oswego 55, Bartlett 33

Oswego pulled away in the second half to raise its record to 12-12 overall.

Kendall Grant led with 26 points. Ahlivia East added seven.
