The Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist celebrated the season on Friday, Dec. 6, with its 20th annual display of 50 nativity sets from around the world at 5 W. Washington St. in Oswego.
Held during the Oswego Christmas Walk, the display was accompanied by a chili and pie supper fundraiser by United Women in Faith and mounted in the church sanctuary, according to a news release from the church.
Sets were placed on boards across pews with lights and labels, said Good Shepherd congregant and longtime nativity display coordinator Pam Dodson in the release.
Foreign sets came from Germany and the Philippines.
Good Shepherd congregants loaned the sets, which range in age from recent to 80 years old, Dodson said in the release.
Live music was provided by Good Shepherd’s praise choir and Fox River Music Academy members.
