I have been following the proposed Kane County tax increase and cannot believe what is being proposed. All property owners already are going to be paying about 9% more due to the rise in the average price of homes in the county. So an additional 3% on top of the 9% is adding insult to injury. Are our leaders of the county oblivious to this? Or is there something I am missing?
