10 students recognized for achievement across academic departments

Streator Township High School's March students of the month are Olivia Flanary, Adalynn Harding, Andres Salcido, Paulina Martinez, Alexis Butler, Aryannah Morgan, Rileigh Zavada, Paul Preston, Cessily Patton and Courtarious Burnley. The students were recognized for academic achievement across 10 school departments.

Streator Township High School has named its March students of the month, recognizing achievements across 10 academic departments.

The honorees are:

Career and Technical Ed.: Olivia Flanary, grade 9, in FCS with Mrs. Dawn Osborn.

English: Adalynn Harding, grade 11, in English III with Mr. Chris Aubry.

World Language: Andres Salcido, grade 11, in German III with Ms. Debbie Horton.

Fine Arts: Paulina Martinez, grade 12, in Advanced Art with Mrs. Monica Hladovcak.

Social Studies: Alexis Butler, grade 11, in U.S. History with Mr. Ken Carlson.

Guided Program for Success: Aryannah Morgan, grade 9, in GPS with Ms. Amy Hagi and Mr. Ray Yanek.

Health and Fitness/P.E./Drivers Ed.: Rileigh Zavada, grade 9, in BSP with Mr. Jay Slone.

Math: Paul Preston, grade 9, in Algebra A with Mrs. Meghan Ross.

Science: Cessily Patton, grade 9, in Biology A with Mr. Matt Brandenburg.

Student Services: Courtarious Burnley, grade 9, in Foundation Skills English with Ms. Amy Hagi.
