Hall, St. Bede, Princeton girls all win on the road: Thursday’s BCR roundup

Girls basketball

St. Bede 54, Dwight 29: The Bruins got 15 points from Quinn McClain, 14 from Savannah Bray and 11 each from Ashlyn Ehm and Lili McClain in a dominating Tri-County Conference victory at Dwight.

St. Bede got 21 points by Ashlan Heersink to win the JV game 54-38.

Hall 53, Mendota 24: Ella Sterling scored 20 to lead the Red Devils to a Three Rivers East victory in Mendota.

Charlie Pellegrini added 12 points while Caroline Morris and Natalia Zamora split 12 more.

Princeton 56, Newman 52: Keighley Davis led the Tigresses (11-6, 5-1) to a key Three Rivers East victory in Sterling with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Camyrn Driscoll added 13 points and Makayla Hecht added seven as the Tigresses improved to 11-6 and 5-1 in the TRAC East.

Gisselle Martin led the Comets (16-7, 2-3) with 23 points.

Boys basketball

Bureau Valley JV 47, Princeton Christian Academy 44: Zac Wiggim scored 14 points to lead the Storm JV to a victory at the Storm Cellar.

Julian Mucha had 19 points and Andrew Gibson added 11 for the visiting Eagles.

Wrestling

Princeton 68, Orion 12: The Tigers scored a dominating victory on the Prouty Gym mats.
