Bureau Valley falls at Knoxville: BCR Monday roundup

Knoxville 54, Bureau Valley 38: The Storm led 30-29 at the half, but were outscored 25-8 in the second half in Lincoln Trail Conference play at Knoxville on Monday.

Freshman Brooke Helms led the Storm with nine points.

Knoxville also won the JV game 38-25. Brynley Doty had 13 points for BV.

L-P 48, Hall 24: The Cavaliers doubled up the Red Devils in an Illinois Valley clash in Spring Valley on Monday.

Brie Ruppert led L-P with 16 points, Elli Sines had 12 and Emma Jereb added 11.

Charlie Pellegrini and Caroline Morris each had seven points for Hall.

Marquette 56, St. Bede 45: Kaitlyn Davis scored 31 points, sinking five 3-pointers on the way, to carry the Crusaders to victory on their homecourt over their Tri-County rivals.

St. Bede had three in double figures, Lili McClain with 15 points, Ashlyn Ehm with 12, and Savannah Bray with 10, but it wasn’t enough.
