Oglesby American Legion swears in first female commander

Kathy Lawyer, who served in U.S. Navy from 1973-76, was sworn in as commander of Oglesby American Legion Post 237 on June 13, 2024. Lawyer is the post’s first female commander in its 102 years of existence.
