Johnsburg junior running back Jake Metze ran nine times for 119 yards and a touchdown as the Skyhawks defeated Harvard, 26-7, in their Kishwaukee River/Interstate 8 Blue Division game.

The Skyhawks (3-6, 2-4 Blue) finished the season with three wins in thelr last four games. Harvard ended up 2-7, 1-5.

Quarterback Luke Conroy completed 12-of-20 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.

Running back Eduardo Flores ran for a 17-yard touchdown for the Hornets’ lone score.

Marian Central 55, Chicago DePaul 28: At Chicago, quarterback Brendan Hernon finished his high school career with a five-touchdown performance as the Hurricanes (4-5, 2-0) beat the Rams to win the CCL/ESCC Red Division.

Hernon completed 12-of-15 passes for 287 yards, and also rushed 22 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide receiver Christian Bentancur caught six passes for 209 yards and three scores. Colin Piedmonte had three catches for 35 yards and two touchdowns, while Jack Schmid carried 17 times for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Burlington Central 30, McHenry 13: At McHenry, the Rockets (3-6, 3-6) finished their season with an FVC road victory over the Warriors (1-8, 1-8).
