Todd A. "Pops" Vickery, 35, of Aroma Park, died Saturday (April 25, 2009). Memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Aroma Park United Methodist Church. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements are by the Ervin Funeral Home, Kankakee.

Mr. Vickery was a handyman/construction worker. He was born May 12, 1975, the son of Terrance Vickery and Barbara Soucie. He did volunteer work for L'Som Ministries. He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed barbecuing, hanging out with friends, taking pictures and cooking.

Surviving are two daughters, Callie Vickery and Sierra Hasik; one sister and brother-in-law, Gretchen and David Wielgus Jr.; one brother, Timothy Vickery; his fiancee, Tina Massengill; and many very special friends.

His mother is deceased.
