Goodies and school supplies will be provided at a back-to-school trunk or treat event on August 23 at the Kankakee Train Depot. (Metro )

The Tyjuan Hagler Foundation will be hosting a back-to-school trunk or treat event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at the Kankakee Train Depot.

Goodies and school supplies will be provided.

The event will feature free sports physicals, haircuts, food and family-friendly activities.

A classic and sports cars show will also be taking place.

The event will kick off with a meet-and-greet with Super Bowl champion Tyjuan Hagler, starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Kankakee Public Library.
