For more than 86 minutes, Kaneland senior goalie Natalie Myers made save after save to keep it a one-score game. But Boylan connected twice in the final 2:30 for the 3-0 win in the Class 2A Belvidere Sectional semifinals.

The Kaneland girls soccer team met Boylan Wednesday night in the Class 2A sectional semifinal game at Belvidere High School.

Ally Poegel scored twice as Genoa-Kingston claimed its first girls soccer regional title since 2010, winning its 19th straight game this year and adding its program-record win total.
