Top-seeded Malden Methodist battled its way back to reach the Princeton Fastpitch Church League championship, defeating United Methodist 11-10 Thursday night.

Malden will face seven-time defending league champ St. Matthews in Saturday’s tournament finals at 6 p.m. at West Side Park. Malden will need to beat St. Matthews twice to take the title in the double-tournament.

St. Matthews beat Malden 19-9 in six innings Tuesday night.
