Princeton American Legion Auxiliary #125 to meet Dec. 21

Meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m.

In the early 2000s, the Princeton VFW sold its former building and moved in with the Princeton American Legion, located on West Peru Street. A move like so was unheard of at the time, but it was an important one that has made both veteran organizations stronger in the long run.

The Princeton American Legion Auxiliary #125 will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 1549 W. Peru St.

The group will be putting together gift bags for Veterans at local retirement and nursing homes.

Those that would like to become a member or just want to help out are encouraged to attend.
