Winners of the 2021 baby contest announced during Homestead Festival weekend

The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club announced the winners and runners-up of this year’s contest on Friday. The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club once again held its annual baby contest leading up to the Homestead Festival celebration.

Families entered their babies into the contest starting at the beginning of August. Babies had to be under 24 months of age to qualify.

Voting began on Friday, Aug. 13, and went until noon on Friday, Sept. 10. The babies’ photographs were on display at Midland State Bank, First State Bank, Central Bank and Heartland Bank.

This year’s girl winner was Olivia Wray, daughter of Kirk Wray and Celia Kernan. The runner-up girl winner was Annabelle Sousa, daughter of Mike and Tabatha Sousa.

This year’s boy winner was Easton Frank, son of David Frank and Stefanie DeBates. The runner-up boy winner was Declan Gapinski, son of Brad and Danielle Gapinski.
