PRINCETON — A 62-year-old Princeton man was killed Thursday evening in a single-vehicle DUI accident that happened just east of Princeton on Route 6.
The man, David Drazkowski, was a passenger in the vehicle. He was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at OSF St. Clare.
The driver of the vehicle, Dustin Wrona, 33, of Princeton has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle.
According to a release issued by Bureau County Sheriff Jim Reed, deputies responded to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover accident at approximately 8 p.m. on Route 6, a half mile west of 2300 East Street.
A black 2001 Dodge Ram truck was traveling west when it lost control and rolled several times off the south side of the roadway.
Wrona was ejected from the vehicle.
Responding units included Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau County Coroner Janice Wamhoff, Princeton Police Department and Princeton Fire/EMS.
