Hall High School inducts students into National Honor Society

16 students inducted this year

Sixteen Hall High School students have been inducted into the National Honor Society. SPRING VALLEY — The Hall High School National Honor Society held its National Honor Society induction ceremony April 7 in the gymnasium.

The National Honor Society is a very prestigious club. National Honor Society members must be outstanding in service, leadership, character, as well as scholarship. A candidate must have a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 or higher. Potential candidates fill out activity sheets, and then a select group of teachers (selected on a rotating basis) score the applicants based on service, leadership and character.

Current NHS members are: Kamden Walk, Gia Pozzi, Hannah Parente, Liliana Orlandi, Zoey Morris, Morgan Krewer, Payton Johnson, Rayghan Haase, Makenzie Galetti, Taeja Foster and Jaclyn Cinotte.

Sixteen students were inducted this year. New junior members are: Kierra Wozniak, the daughter of Doug and Renee Wozniak of Spring Valley; Avril Daisy Ruiz, the daughter of Veva Ruiz and Jose Luis Ruiz of Seatonville; Caleb Savitch, the son of Bernadette and Dave Savitch of Spring Valley; Mia Mautino, the daughter of Heather and Mark Mautino of Spring Valley; Kali Vassos, the daughter Tracy Vassos and Propie Vassos of Spring Valley; Elizabeth Wenzel, the daughter of Jeremy and Christina Wenzel of Ladd; Dominic Guerrini, the son of Nick and Gina Guerrini of Seatonville; Mia DeAngelo, the daughter of Julie and Mike DeAngelo of Spring Valley; Colin Finklea, the son of Kathleen and Heath Finklea of Spring Valley; Reese McDonald, the daughter of Julie and Matt McDonald of Ladd; Victoria Ullrich, the daughter of Jay and Lisa Ullrich of Spring Valley; Molly Dalzot, the daughter of John Dalzot of Spring Valley and Cindy Dalzot of Spring Valley; Arthur Argubright, the son of Marie and David Argubright of Spring Valley; Maggie Filippini, the daughter of Joanna and Mike Filippini of Spring Valley; Katelyn Pullam, the daughter of Kathy and Frank Pullam of Cherry; and Jasmine Valdez-Castaneda, the daughter of Mario and Sammie Valdez-Castaneda of Dalzell.
