Spring Valley man sentenced to one year in prison for driving with a revoked license

Defendant has a history of traffic offenses

A Spring Valley man was sentenced to a year in prison for repeatedly driving with a revoked license.

Ryan A. Simonetta, 35, was sentenced by Judge James Andreoni to a one-year sentence for a class-4 felony of driving while license revoked.

Simonetta was sentenced as a result of a traffic stop on April 28, 2021 at which time his license was revoked for a prior conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Simonetta was prosecuted by First Assistant State’s Attorney Tom Briddick; he was represented by Assistant Public Defender Brad Popurella.
