Princeton volleyball holds awards night

Princeton High School held its awards night for the 2021 volleyball season on Sunday.

Senior libero Abby Peterson was named the team’s MVP. In other awards, senior Katie Bates earned the Leadership Award, senior Jenna Loftus claimed the Sportsmanship Award, senior Taylor Wetsel took home the Hustle/Attitude Award and junior Isa Ibarra and senior Anastasia Mallery-Sondgeroth shared the Most Improved Award.

Madison Richards and Bates each received 4-Year Varsity awards.

All Academic Awards went to Katie Bates, Libby Boyles, Madison Doran, Maya Gartin, Olivia Gartin, McKenzie Hecht, Isa Ibarra, Lily Keutzer, Jenna Loftus, Anastasia Mallery-Sondgeroth, Abby Peterson, Madison Richards and Taylor Wetsel.

Freshman awards went to Samantha Woolley (Sportsmanship), Mariska Mount (Hustle/Attitude and MVP), Fiona Wempe (Most Improved) and Ellie Harp (Leadership).

Sophomore award winners were Caitlin Meyer (Sportsmanship), Miyah Fox (Hustle/Attitude and MVP), Olivia Longeville (Most Improved) and Caitlin Meyer (Leadership).
