The Bureau County Farm Bureau and COUNTRY is currently accepting applications for 2022 Community Impact Grants.
The awarded grant can be up to $5,000 but the amount awarded will be determined at the time of selection.
The grant is intended to help fund projects that have an impact on our communities. The farm bureau believes that there are many great community-based projects that do not come to reality due to a lack of funding.
Through this grant program, they hope to identify various projects that will improve the community and create partnerships with groups and individuals to make these projects a reality.
Proposals will be accepted now through March 1 as the submitting organization or individual must be based in Bureau County and have operations in the county.
Examples of qualified organizations include schools, civic organizations, churches, 4-H clubs, food banks, FFA chapters, fraternities, sororities and many more. Projects that have a lasting, multi-year impact will be favored over those with a short-term impact.
Grant recipients will be announced in late spring, with project completion to occur by Aug. 15.
This grant is provided through a partnership between the Bureau County Farm Bureau and COUNTRY Financial representatives in Bureau County.
