Bears injury report: Akiem Hicks will not play Sunday vs. Ravens

In Baltimore, Lamar Jackson returned to practice after missing 2 days

LAKE FOREST – Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Hicks has been nursing an ankle injury and did not practice this week.

Outside linebacker Khalil Mack will be placed on injured reserve, Bears coach Matt Nagy confirmed. Mack will have season-ending foot surgery.

Mack has not played or practiced since Oct. 24 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nagy described the injury as related to Mack’s toe, but declined to elaborate.

Receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring) is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game. Robinson did not practice at all this week. Nagy mentioned Rodney Adams and Isaiah Coulter as two receivers who could potentially be pulled up from the practice squad if Robinson is unavailable.

Safety Eddie Jackson (hamstring) and offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson (back) are both listed as questionable. Both practiced Friday in a limited capacity.

Receiver Darnell Mooney (foot), inside linebacker Alec Ogletree (ankle), running back Damien Williams (knee), tight end J.P. Holtz (concussion) and kicker Cairo Santos (elbow) are all expected to play Sunday.

In Baltimore, quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice after missing back-to-back days with an illness. Jackson’s illness was not COVID-19. His return to practice Friday most likely means that he will be available Sunday when the Ravens visit Soldier Field.
