A La Salle County grand jury convened Tuesday and returned the following indictments: Chantlle Smith, 29, of Peru (aggravated battery); Kacey Becker, 31, of Chicago (driving while revoked); Tabitha Hensley, 29, of Sheridan (two counts of aggravated battery); Shane Messick, 34, of Leonore (driving while revoked); Mayra Cordoba, 40, of Joliet (two counts of forgery); Sharon Verucchi, 34, of Marseilles (unlawful possession of a controlled substance); Rudy Schlink, 43, of Ottawa (domestic battery; criminal damage to government property); William Hardee, 62, of Ottawa (driving while revoked); Nicholas Simpson, 40, of Streator (aggravated discharge of a firearm; unlawful use of a weapon); Dorian James, 44, of Chicago (driving while revoked); Enrique Granados, 64, of Streator (driving while revoked).
