Bears DT Akiem Hicks will not play Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Hicks suffered a hamstring injury against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 16. Hicks did not practice at all this week.
He will be missed on the defensive line, where the Bears could be thin without their Pro Bowl tackle.
Also inactive is QB Nick Foles, who suffered a hip injury against the Vikings. Foles didn’t practice at all this week. Backup QB Mitch Trubisky will start in his place Sunday night.
Other inactives for the Bears include S Sherrick McManis, OL Lachavious Simmons, WR Javon Wims and OLB Trevis Gipson.
Left tackle Charles Leno (toe) did not practice Thursday or Friday, but appears to be good to go for Sunday’s game.
For the Packers, the following players were designated as inactive for Sunday’s game: QB Jordan Love, RB Tyler Ervin, CB Josh Jackson, LB Jonathan Garvin. Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is active, despite missing practice Friday with an achilles injury.
