Lee County Farm Bureau Foundation recently had its annual Books by the Bushel program to promote agriculture education. Ashton-Franklin Center Elementary School, Bright Beginnings Christian Daycare and Preschool in Dixon, and La Moille – Clarion Public Library, each received a bushel basket of 11 agriculture-related children’s books.
