Redevelopment plans for the Kmart site won't be ready for the city's planning and zoning boards this week.
Staff reports for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Plan Commission meetings on Thursday recommend tabling the plans for the project until the December meetings.
A developer plans to turn the former Kmart store, which closed in 2016, and parking lot at Jefferson Street and Larkin Avenue into a mix of self-storage space and other businesses, including restaurants and a possible grocery store.
