Covia idles the former Unimin plant in Utica; 65 out of work

Sixty-five people are out of work at Covia, formerly Unimin Corp., in Utica. Company officials confirmed Tuesday the plant was idled (no word as to how long) due to poor market conditions and the novel coronavirus pandemic. (Scott Anderson)
