DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre is offering expansion tours at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, and Thursday, Nov. 19.
The historic theater recently completed a $6.5 million expansion project, the first since the theater opened in 1929. These tours will take guests through all the new restrooms, concessions, storage, mechanical spaces, and describe what changed.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, these tours are extremely limited and require a ticket. Tickets can be reserved online or over the phone for a $10 donation per person. All tour donations will go directly to the Expanding Beyond 90 Years campaign fund.
This evening tour will last approximately one hour and the tickets are limited.
All attendees must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose. Social distancing will be in place throughout the tour.
For tickets, visit www.egyptiantheatre.org or call 815-758-1215.
