VERNON HILLS – Hawthorn Mall announced it has signed leases with several new tenants, both seasonal and permanent.
In addition, the popular 60 & 21 Café and Wine Bar in Center Park, which temporarily closed earlier this year, will be reopening in November with a brand-new operator and expanded menu. 60 & 21 Café and Wine Bar is on the lower level inside Center Park.
Macy’s is adding furniture to its offerings at Hawthorn Mall. In the Macy’s Big Ticket Express furniture department, shoppers will find home furnishings – everything from bookshelves to sectional sofas. The department opens in November and is on the lower level of Macy’s.
“We’re carefully curating the best and most popular holiday retailers to make this shopping season the best ever at Hawthorn Mall,” Jeff Rutzen, general manager of the shopping center, said in a news release. “Woody’s has been a holiday icon here for more than 15 years, selling beautiful holiday ornaments and home décor that people come here specifically to find each year, and we’re happy to say Woody’s will be returning again this year.
“Go! Calendars, Games & Toys is another seasonal favorite, but this year, we’re proud to announce a more permanent arrangement that will give our shoppers year-round access to everything this popular retailer has to sell. Tech iFix and Macy’s furniture department are brand-new to the mall, and Main @ Center is a new concept, offering a very unique shopping experience, as well as a way for the mall’s visitors to support local businesses this holiday season.”
