Batavia Taco Bell closed – doors locked, but no sign

BATAVIA – Taco Bell in Batavia is closed, after an employee allegedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

According to a post on social media from an employee, the restaurant is closed until further notice after another employee was notified of a positive COVID result.

There were no signs on the restaurant's doors about the closure, but the doors were locked and lights were off. Several cars were waiting in line at the drive-thru, but they eventually gave up and left after a few minutes.

No one answered the phone when the Kane County Chronicle attempted to reach a manager for comment.
