A 23-year-old Ottawa native died Aug. 2 in a motorycle crash in Colorado Springs, Colo., according to a report from The Gazette in Colorado Springs.

Benjamin Garland, who was living in Colorado Springs, was northbound on Powers Boulevard in Colorado Springs and ran off the side of the road at a curve and was thrown off his motorcycle, according to police. Garland was pronounced dead at the scene, The Gazette reported.
