Wares from Fishy Green Organic Farm, featuring honey and hydroponically grown lettuces, will be offered outside Curds & Whey, a cheese and fishmonger shop in Geneva, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
The farm's trademark yellow truck will be set up outside Curds & Whey, near the entrance to Ace Hardware at 617 W. State St. (Route 38).
The farm is based in Wheaton. Curds & Whey owner Rob Murphy said it's been a longtime dream to offer a weekday market in Geneva. His shop is at 609 W. State St. in the Ace Hardware plaza. For more information, visit the shop's Facebook page at shawurl.com/3dli.
Murphy's store specializes in artisan cheese, butter, salumi, charcuterie, farm fresh local eggs, related products and fish. He offers a selection of spices to enhance seafood cookery, along with an array of imported regional olive oil, mustards and local honey. The shop now is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
