Ayers Landing, C&M Canoe Rental planning to open for business June 27

They are taking reservations now

COVID-19 won't ruin fun on Illinois' rivers this summer.

Ayers Landing Canoe Rental and C&M Canoe Rentals in Wedron on the Fox River are both planning be open for business on June 27.

They are both taking reservations now.

"We do however have to follow the state guidelines for reopening due to COVID-19. You will need to bring your own face mask and wear it when in the park and on the bus. Also, you will need to social distance and only two adults are allowed per canoe," says the Ayers' Facebook page.

C&M also asks that people bring their own masks for the bus portion of the trip.

"We ask that if you have a fever, any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, that you please reschedule your trip. We truly appreciate your patience with us as we have been trying to figure this all out and how to re-open while keeping all of our customers and employees safe and as healthy as possible," says Ayers' Facebook page.
