At-Home Story Time: Every Tuesday, an at-home story time outline is sent out for children to do with their family. To join in on the fun, text @spldstory to 81010.
Teen Watch Party: At 6 p.m. Thursdays, teens will watch a movie or anime or even play a game together. Text @spldteen to 81010 to receive instructions and the invite link. For ages 12 to 18 only. Youth younger than 13 will need to be signed up by a parent.
First Chapter Club: 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays on Facebook Live. A staff member will read the first chapter of a book aloud and those who are interested can continue the story through online reading resources. Books for all ages will be featured.
Virtual Book Share: 1 p.m. Mondays on Zoom. A virtual book share will be posted on Facebook. Share the books you’ve been reading and get some new recommendations during quarantine.
Vocab Club: Meets at 1:30 p.m. Fridays online via Zoom. Do you love words? They do, too. Bring your new favorite word to share, and via group dialog they will explore its etymology.
