Local Farm Bureaus accepting mask donations

Farm Bureaus is Lee and Whiteside counties are looking for donations of new, unused N95 face masks.

• The masks, used by farmers and construction companies, are being accepted Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon at the Whiteside County Farm Bureau, 100 E. Knox St. The masks will be donated to local hospitals and medical care facilities. Call 815-441-8572 to schedule a different drop-off time or for more information.

• In Lee County, the Farm Bureau is asking people to schedule a drop-off at the office at 37 S. East Ave. Email leecfb@comcast.net, call 815-857-3531 and leave a message, or post a message on the Farm Bureau's Facebook page.
