Crystal Lake Little League suspends activities until May 11

Crystal Lake Little League issued a statement Friday to those involved with the league regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.

The league will suspend all activities until no earlier than May 11, following a recommendation from Little League USA. The league will follow guidance from Little League USA, Crystal Lake Elementary School District 47 and the Crystal Lake Park District regarding when the season could start.

“Our intent is still to play the 2020 spring/summer Little League season," the statement read. "As the situation changes and new recommendations are made, we will communicate via email and our website updated schedules."
