Mr. and Mrs. Jim King of McNabb will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.

Jim King and the former Gladys Mekley were married March 5, 1960, in the Magnolia Methodist Church by the Rev. Warren Christian. They are the parents of a daughter, Kimberly (Stephen) Wilson of McNabb. They also have three grandchildren, Kyle Wilson of McNabb, Mitchell Wilson of McNabb and Stephanie Wilson of Standard.

The couple owned and operated G & J Fertilizer Co. for 32 years, retiring in 2007.

To celebrate their anniversary, the couple will enjoy dinner and theater with family and friends.
