To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5.
UW-Oshkosh
University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officials have announced students who qualified for the University Dean's List and Honor Roll in the fall of 2019 across its three campuses, Fond du Lac, Fox Cities and Oshkosh. To qualify for the honor roll, a student must earn a GPA of at least 3.3. Those with a GPA of 3.75 or better qualify for the Dean's List.
Abbey Gernenz of Mazon was named to the Honor Roll, and Kameron Dransfeldt and Grace Larson of Morris were named to the Dean's List.
Millikin University
Millikin University's Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester is comprised of students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted earn High Dean's List honors.
Honored students include Blake Breyman of Morris, Megan Carey of Morris, and Chloe White of Carbon Hill.
Millikin University is a private, comprehensive university with a diverse student population of approximately 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students in Decatur, Ill.
UI-Springfield
The University of Illinois Springfield has released the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2019. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate who took at least eight graded semester hours and maintained a grade-point average of at least 3.75 for the semester. Included on the list from Morris are Ella Ferguson and Kristine Hietschold, and from Coal City is Kenady Clayburn.
UW-Platteville
Amber Zilinger of Minooka and Kade Kjellesvik of Morris were named to The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Dean's List, which honors those full-time students who earned high honors in their respective colleges in the fall 2019 semester. The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the College of Liberal Arts and Education require grade-point averages of 3.75 and above for Dean's List honors, while the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science requires students to reach at least a 3.50.
University of Alabama
Delaney M. Eber of Morris was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for fall 2019. A total of 12,050 students enrolled during the 2019 fall term at UA were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0. The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The University of Alabama, the state's oldest and largest public institution of higher education, is a student-centered research university that draws the best and brightest to an academic community committed to providing a premier undergraduate and graduate education.
Drake University
Kaitlin Palko of Morris was named to the President's List at Drake Univertiy in Des Moines. To be eligible for the President's List, students must have earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2019 semester at Drake. Drake University is a midsize, private university enrolling nearly 3,000 undergraduate and more than 1,800 graduate students.
Augustana
More than 1,000 students were named to the Dean's List at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., for the 2019-20 fall semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Founded in 1860, Augustana College is a selective four-year residential college of the liberal arts and sciences.
St. Ambrose
Grace Richardson of Channahon, Isabella Cernetich of Minooka, Kylie Gaydula of Minooka, and Ryan Friend of Morris were all named to the Dean's List at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Students on the Dean's List are full-time students who achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Founded in 1882 by the Diocese of Davenport, St. Ambrose is a private, coeducational, comprehensive university with a firm grounding in the liberal arts, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.
University of Dubuque
Brooke Brodzinski of Minooka was named to University of Dubuque's Fall Semester 2019 Academic Dean's List. To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester. The University of Dubuque is a private university offering undergraduate, graduate and theological seminary degrees as well as other educational opportunities with the intention of educating and forming the whole person.
Hofstra University
Tyler Mroczek of Morris, was named to the fall 1029 Dean's List at Hofstra Universtiy in New York. Students must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. Hofstra University is a nationally ranked and recognized private university that is the only school to ever host three consecutive presidential debates (2008, 2012 and 2016), and offers 160 undergraduate program options and 165 graduate program options.
Northeastern University
Lillian Petersen of Minooka, a student at Northeastern University in Boston majoring in international business, was recently named to the university’s Dean’s List for the Fall semester, which ended in December 2019. To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Northeastern is a global research university and the recognized leader in experience-powered lifelong learning.
Missouri S&T
Missouri University of Science and Technology announced the names of students who made the honor list for the Fall 2019 semester, including Zachary Petersen and Alexander Wampler, both of Minooka. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a possible 4.0. Founded in 1870 as the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, Missouri University of Science and Technology is a research university of more than 8,600 students and part of the four-campus University of Missouri System.
College of St. Scholastica
The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., has announced graduate students whose degrees have been conferred for the Fall 2019 semester. Kristen Scheuerlein of Coal City graduated with a Master of business administration. St. Scholastica held its Fall 2019 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14 on campus. St. Scholastica is nationally recognized for quality and value. It has been named to the U.S. News & World Report Best National Universities and Top Performers on Social Mobility lists.
Western Governors University
The following local residents have earned their degree from Western Governors University, an online, nonprofit university that has graduated over 167,000 students from across the country since its inception in 1997:
Brian Gibson of Coal City has earned a Bachelor of Science, business management degree.
Jenny Chellino of Morris has earned a Bachelor of Arts, interdisciplinary studies (K-8) degree.
John Gates of Yorkville has earned a Bachelor of Science, cybersecurity and information assurance degree.
WGU has recognized 5,617 undergraduate and 4,302 graduate degree recipients, who have completed their degrees since Oct. 2, 2019. Their areas of study include business, K-12 education, information technology and health professions, including nursing.
