SYCAMORE – The Sycamore Education Foundation wants friends, family members and co-workers to nominate distinguished alumni for the district's 2020 Distinguished Alumni Awards.
The purpose of the awards is to recognize Sycamore High School graduates who have maintained a high standard of excellence and made noteworthy contributions within their field.
The award is a tribute to SHS graduations who have shown exceptional, personal, community and-or professional achievements, according to a Sycamore Education Foundation news release.
Once the nominees are submitted, three people will be selected as honorees for 2020, the release states. The ceremony will take place in September before the Sycamore Education Foundation's annual fundraiser, Take Root.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Feb. 15.
