Harold Don and Carol Underhill were married on December 5th, 1953 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ottawa, IL. They were married by Father Cashmere Miller who also married Carol’s Mom and Dad when they married years earlier in the same church. Carol and Don had four children; Linda, Loren, Lisa (3 years deceased), and Lance. They also have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Don spent four years in the Air Force and 35 years working for I.B.M. The couple moved back to Ottawa in 2011. Don graduated from Marseilles High in 1951 and Carol graduated from Marquette High in 1953. Don and Carol recently took a trip to England on the Queen Mary to visit Carol’s Dad’s family. Carol’s Dad was the only one from 12 children who moved to America.
