After two warm and dry days, the 71st annual Grundy County Corn Festival encountered a rainy weekend.

While the rainfall caused the cancellation of several events, including the flea market and craft show, the crackerbox derby and fireworks, the festival still mananged to carry on, with folks pouring into downtown Morris to enjoy entertainment, festival food, downtown shopping and the carnival.

Despite light rain, the Corn Festival Parade also was able to carry on.
