In Ottawa City Rec Softball Tournament play:

Angels 8, Illinois Office Supply 1

Nick Allegretti singled, tripled and hit a home run, with Jim DeMoss contributing two singles and a home run for Angels. Nick Armstrong doubled and homered, and Juan Valdez earned the pitching victory.

Nate Melvin had three hits and Matt Feller two for IOS.

Carson's Tap 11, Caffee News 0

Shane Romagnoli singled twice and doubled for the Monday North champs. Winning pitcher Steve Pearson joined John Struck and Steve Kieslar with two hits apiece.

Jackpot High Rollers 23, Furlongs 11

Alex Koziel (triple) and Rodkym Jackson had three hits apiece for Jackpot. Troy Yeager (double), Elliot Kowalski (double), winning pitcher Ken Hicks, Shaun Zitnowski, Chris Yeoman and Mike Fleming had two hits apiece with Mason Erschen poked a grand slam.

Adam DeMoss had four doubled to pace Furlongs. Tad Kabinski doubled twice and homered, Clay Caputo singled twice and doubled, Austin Plock tripled twice, and Neal Stasell and Jeremy Blakley each singled twice.

Rambo's Bar & Grill 5 MCS Advertising 4

C.J. Norman singled twice and hit a home run in support of winning pitcher Wes Vatland for Rambo's. Zeke Schmidt singled and doubled, and Christian Jones singled twice.

Nick Quick singled and doubled, Buddy Ahlstrom singled twice, and Levi Erickson doubled for MCS Advertising.

The Outage 17, Manley and DanLe Music Services 2

Andrew Amm (two doubles), Blake Cottingham (home run), Doug Gassman (double), Jim Fultz and John Calkins had two hits apiece for The Outage. Brandon Leal and Matt Bowman each hit a home run.

BASH 25, Stacks 15

Joel Mertes (home run) and Dave Schmitt each turned in a 4-for-4 prformance to lead BASH. Kevin Oberholz (home run), Jason Grubar (home run, double), winning pitcher Dean Foster (double) and Tim Creedon had three hits apiece. Dale Hanlon (home run), Anthony Crowder and Kyle Entwistle each had two hits, and Grant Johnson doubled.

Sam Burress and Caleb Smith had three hits apiece for Stacks. Dan Biba (triple), Josh Biebuch (double), Nick Burress and Clint Carrera each finished with two hits, while J.J. DeBernardi was good for a home run.

Tough Rigs 21, Compeer Financial 16

Carlos Kennedy (double), Jeremy Schillings and Theran Hitchens had four hits apiece for Tough Rigs. Clint Hawk (two home runs), River Abrams (home run) and winning pitcher Zach Stewart each had three hits.

Jeff Hoerner (double, home run) and Adam Britt (double) both had 4-for-4 nights for Compeer. Cahill Hoerner (home run), Caden Hoerner (home run), Ryan Leifheit and Ryan Pubentz had three hits apiece, with Jim Snook adding a single and home run.

J.J.'s Bar & Grill 25, Allison Asphalt 15

Matt Lambert (double, two home runs) and Kipp Caputo each went 5-for-5 to lead J.J.'s to victory behind pitcher Jerrid Henry. Joe Ceja hit for the cycle in four at-bats, and Rob Iverson singled four times. Brent Anderson (two home runs), Zak Worsley (triple), Jake Zdunich and Jake Vanda had three hits apiece.

Dan Dillard (double, two home runs), Dustin Cook and Jason Hallam had three hits apiece. Dave Eddards, Ric Allison, Calvin Smoode and Brody Frig each had two safeties.

J.J.'s Bar & Grill 10, Tough Rigs 3

Matt Lambert singled twice and homered in support of winning pitcher Kipp Caputo for J.J.'s. Brent Anderson (double), Joe Ceja (two doubles) and Rob Iverson had two hits apiece, with Zak Worsley, Nick Harsted and Chase Hill each contributing a double

Zach Steward singled twice for Tough Rigs.

The Outage 20, BASH 0

Doug Gassman singled, doubled twice and hit a home run for The Outage. Caleb Gould (three home runs), Matt Bowman (two doubles, home run) and Andrew Amm (double, triple) had three hits apiece. John Calkins (double), winning pitcher Tyler Zellers (double) and Matt Greathouse each had two hits, with Jim Fultz adding a double.

Angels 4, Carson's Tap 2

Steve Johnson singled twice and tripled for Angels. Nick Allegretti singled and homered, and Josh Stillwell singled twice.

Matt Bernickas and Paulie Ostafin had two hits apiece for Carson's Tap.

Rambo's 6, Jackpot Video 1

Bradon Moore singled twice and tripled, and Jeremy Foreman singled three times in support of winning pitcher Wes Vatland for Rambo's. C.J. Norman singled and doubled, and Dalton Gunier singled twice.

Ken Hicks singled and doubled, and Shawn Zitnowski singled twice for Jackpot Video.
