Ottawa

Kayla Hanson, 30, Peru, was arrested Thursday at Columbus and Deleon streets on a complaint of driving while license suspended. Hanson was released with a court date.

Desiree C. Baker, 32, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday on the 400 block of Windsor Drive on a La Salle County warrant on a writ for contempt of court. Baker was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Jacquelyn K. Faulkner, 24, Kewanee, was arrested Thursday on the 400 block of Windsor Drive on a complaint of battery. Faulkner was released with a court date.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on the 1900 block of La Salle Street on a La Salle County warrant for a charge of burglary. The boy was taken to the detention home.

Larry J. Thompson, 59, homeless, was arrested Thursday on the 1500 block of Columbus Street on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge. Thompson was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Streator

Robert Harder, 37, Pontiac, was arrested 11:22 a.m. Thursday on the 2000 block of East Main Street on a complaint of driving while license suspended. Harder was released with a court date.

Money was reported taken Thursday from a vehicle on the 200 block of East Main Street by someone last seen leaving the area on a bicycle.

Adam Snyder, 28, Streator, was arrested 2:50 p.m. Thursday at East Main and Penn streets on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on a driving while license suspended charge. Snyder was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Alyssa Jordal, 25, Streator, was arrested 1:36 p.m. Wednesday at 2415 N. Bloomington St. on a complaint of retail theft, a Livingston County warrant on a charge of DUI and a DeKalb County warrant on a charge of obstructing justice. Jordal was taken to Livingston County Jail.

Vincent Yacovella, 55, Bourbonnais, was arrested 10:59 a.m. Wednesday at Northpoint Plaza on a Kankakee County warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges. Yacovella was released and given a Kankakee County court date.

A window at City Park was reported damaged Wednesday.

Two tennis rackets were reported stolen Wednesday from a vehicle overnight on the 100 block of East Stanton Street.

A basket was reported stolen from a bicycle 7:52 p.m. Wednesday at 920 E. Main St.

A windshield on construction equipment was reported damaged Wednesday on the 2000 block of East Main Street.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 5:10 a.m. Friday to 609 N. Everett St. for an alarm activated by burnt food.

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Streator firefighters responded to the 700 block of East Bridge Street for an illegal burn report, which was discovered to be legal.

Streator firefighters assisted 6:20 p.m. Thursday during a two-car crash at 2008 N. Bloomington St.
