Centennial Counseling celebrates 20 years in Sandwich

SANDWICH – Centennial Counseling Center is celebrating 20 years of being part of the Sandwich community and surrounding area.

What began with therapist Dr. Timothy Buhrt has grown to seven therapists, led by director Anne Barsch. Starting out in the lower level of the Arrowhead building the center is now at 207 E. Church St. in the John Wentworth building.

Centennial offers individual, couple and family counseling for all ages. Centennial staffers have led groups in local schools and have given community presentations, including coordinating a showing of “Finding Kind,” an anti-bullying film in 2012. The center also was part of Project Success, a community partnership with the local schools and truancy board.
