A La Salle man was sentenced to jail Wednesday for having child pornography.

Noah G. Wheelock, 21, pleaded guilty to having video of two girls, under age 18, in lewd acts. He was sentenced to spend about 30 days in jail, to serve about four years' probation and to pay $2,700 in fine and fees. He also has to register as a sex offender. Wheelock had been free on bond since his arrest, but went into custody Wednesday.

La Salle and Ottawa police took part in the investigation that led to Wheelock's arrest, as did the offices of the Illinois Attorney General and La Salle County State's Attorney.
