Collins Dental acquires Dr. Timothy Duez’s dental office

Collins Dental Group in Sycamore is growing. As of Dec. 1, patients of Dr. Timothy Duez in DeKalb were invited to transfer to the group.

After 38 years of practice, Duez decided it was time to retire in order to slow down and enjoy life.

“I am certain you will find the entire Collins Dental Group team’s friendly attitude and personal attention to detail to be similar to what you experienced at my office,” Duez said in a letter to his patients sent in November.

Joining the staff at Collins Dental Group will be longtime Duez employees Betsy Thorne, with 20 years of experience at the front desk, and Angela Bradley, with 15 years of dental assistance experience.

Dr. Dennis Collins welcomes the new additions to the practice. saying, “We look forward to working with such experienced staff, and we know they will make the transition seamless for Dr. Duez’s patients, who we are looking forward to serving.”

All of Duez’s patients’ charts and records have been transferred to Collins Dental Group. All transferring patients are invited to take advantage of a no-charge initial examination (with paid cleanings and radiographs) when they schedule their first dental hygiene appointment at Collins Dental Group.
