Thomas Krohn has joined Baxter & Woodman Inc. consulting engineers in Crystal Lake as a geographic information system solutions lead. He brings more than 16 years of experience with geospatial technologies gained through his tenure with Seiler Instrument and Manufacturing Co. and The Sidwell Co.
Krohn focuses primarily on designing and deploying GIS enterprise databases and GPS solutions to local government agencies, private engineering firms and GIS consultants.
Krohn has a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from Illinois State University and is a GIS professional. He is active in many technical and industry organizations, including the Illinois GIS Association.
Krohn has presented at a variety of conferences and industry-sponsored professional development functions for groups such as ILGISA, the Wisconsin Land Information Association, ESRI Wisconsin User Group and the American Public Works Association.
